Available in six cute designs, these masks are designed and made by hand in Japan. The fabric for each mask is cut from a much larger piece of cloth, giving a slight variation in pattern. The masks are made with two layers of 100% cotton fabric, have elastic ear loops and do not feature a metal nose bar. They are available in one size measuring 4.92” by 7.28”.
Studies have found multi-layer cloth face masks to be very effective at stopping the spread of COVID-19, reliably blocking up to 70% of aspirated particles and significantly reducing the distance these particles can travel away from the person wearing the mask when worn correctly. While fabric masks do not block 100% of pollen and viruses, the CDC recommends using cloth masks such as these for non-medical personnel to stop the spread of COVID-19.
