Maruman Zuan Sketchbook - B6 is an amazing sketchbook!
Used by generations of Japanese artists, this is a truly iconic drawing paper. The surface features a natural, moderate grain that artists have long relied on to add nuance and texture to their creations. Its soft, absorbent character makes it ideal for watercolor, allowing for rich, vibrant washes and blends. The paper's robust composition is also strong enough to handle corrections and multiple layers of media, while its neutral, acid-free quality provides exceptional longevity.
Maruman was founded in Tokyo in 1920 and started manufacturing sketchbooks. The business was temporarily interrupted by the war, but later resumed shortly after the war, and by 2018 they had sold a cumulative total of more than 90 million sketchbooks! Everyone in Japan has used their sketchbook at least once.
